'ONE' Welder
One Rail Group’s ONE Welders are tested to meet or exceed AREMA standards, are self-contained, mobile units, capable of handling all of your flash-butt welding needs.
Features:

A/C welding technology.
120-Ton welding head, capable of low-tonnage closure welds in tight-clearance situations, without the need of an external rail puller when using optional independent shearing.
160-Ton external rail puller for in-track closure and destressing welds.
Onboard rail puller storage nest for quick jobsite travel
Traversing scissor-crane for welding head and rail puller deployment.
Heavy duty hi-rail cab & chassis, with tag and pusher axles, custom designed for welding container.
Integrated auto-crowning system for quick rail end alignment in production situation.

Surfacing Crews
ONE Rail operates Jackson 6700 tampers and Knox Kershaw KBR 860 regulators. Surfacing of track is crucial to maintain desired track geometry. The process is to lift the track to the specified elevation and then compact the ballast to minimize any voids within the ballast. This process help improve track safety and ride quality.

Utility Crews
Crew consists are built per the customers needs, whether it be for crossing replacement, small tie programs, unloading ballast cars, installing plug rails, turn-out installation, or any weather-related needs. We have the manpower and equipment to supplement your forces when needed, whether it is planned work or emergency response.

Manpower Support Crews
When there is a need to supplement your work forces, ONE Rail can supply operators and laborers to assist in many aspects of railroad services, such as tie gangs, rail relay gangs, flagging services, or new track installation.

Previously Worn (PW) Rail
Did you know that previously worn #136 RE rail with 6 mm of headwear still has more railhead than brand new #115RE? For projects requiring #115RE CWR, explore the savings that ONE can provide by furnishing PW rail. This rail can be delivered as blanks, as CWR on a rail train, or welded directly at your project site. ONE can also provide matching PW tie-plates and spring-anchors.
AREMA Slow-Bend Testing
ONE Rail utilizes Model RBT-326 rail-bend testing press to conduct a 3-point slow bend test for electric flash-butt welds, thermite welds, and rail. This test is necessary to provide a controlled loading process to identify weak points in the weld or rail under stress.ONE provides slow-bend test reports that indicate maximum load achieved, maximum deflection, with results plotted on an x-y axis. A summary report per testing batch shall also be furnished to indicate rupture modulus, and an indication of whether the load and deflection met minimum AREMA standards for rail size and hardness. Photos of the reconstructed samples are available upon request.
